Cinnamon: The sweet, spicy aroma of Cinnamon is loved around the world. It is sourced from a tropical evergreen tree that can grow up to 14 metres tall and whose bark, leaves and flowers are highly aromatic. Although Cinnamon has a long history of culinary use, its essential oil is surprisingly versatile. Cinnamon is also commonly used to flavour mouthwashes and chewing gum.
Clove: Recognition of Clove’s beneficial properties and uses dates back to ancient Chinese and Indian cultures. As a food flavouring, it adds a distinctive spicy taste to dishes and desserts. Clove is also widely used in dental preparations, sweets and chewing gum because of its characteristic flavour.
Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus radiata leaf/stem oil, Eucalyptus polybractea leaf oil, Eucalyptus kochii leaf oil, Eucalyptus loxophleba leaf oil, Eucalyptus globulus leaf oil
Sometimes called a gum tree, Eucalyptus is an evergreen tree that can grow up to 15 metres tall. Its main chemical constituents, eucalyptol and alpha-terpineol, contribute to a soothing massage experience. Eucalyptus essential oil creates a relaxing, tension-releasing sensation and also offers beneficial properties for the skin.
Rosemary: Rosemary is an aromatic evergreen shrub whose leaves are commonly used to flavour foods such as stuffing, pork, roast lamb, chicken and turkey. Highly valued in ancient Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Hebrew cultures, rosemary was regarded as a sacred plant. Its herbaceous, energising aroma has also made Rosemary essential oil popular for aromatic use and massage.
